Exactly! Nintendo of America and Europe are probably saying that we're doing just fine with reading up on the Japanese Directs and trailers, that they won't need to do anything else in English, haha.
Seriously, I feel it's about time to release some English info pretty soon. A release date might come with that at E3 with probably a new trailer included.
