So how can Monolith can create a great game like XCX then??? Monolith must have been invented RPG or video games or suddenly shows up without the inspiration past game or game that already marked the history in the past.

I am not saying imitating literally full imitating , i mean every aspect will be improve and added for future games the same goes with XCX, that adopted many aspect from every game that had been released before.

So there is no more argument, i believe i agree with u all the games you mention is a " great game " but there will be another great game coming in the future including this type of games (open world rpg). Is not like the world is stop spinning. LOl

You're not being very coherrant as we're not talking about inventing anything we're talking about imitating, gaming progresses yes but it progresses on the designs of great games like XC, as a result future games are merely treading the same ground that the game has already left it's mark on which is why any game trying to imitate GTA was never as good as they're following a lead. Monolith had a concept in mind with XC and they used a number of aspects to execute this concept and created something new for a genre that was in a dire position.

Taking aspects from other games is not imitating heck DMC3 took aspects from fighting games to execute it's concept and Wolfenstein 3d was inspired by SMB when the was no FPS around at the time and great games in future don't offset great games in the past, GTA for example is inspired by Zelda it didn't stop OOT still being regarded as one of the greatest games ever made even today despite GTA3 being a great game as well, that's a flawed way of thinking.

then why are we debating if you agree with me , let just say i am bad with wording so my rply could be very far from the actual meaning, what i am saying imitating it's actually adopting, like Uncharted from Gears of War side of view perspective or TLOU from Resident Evil idea, i mean i am agree with u it's just a matter of language barier because i am not good with English so pardon me.
