They were both over the top and brimming with cheese from the moment of their conception. Let's not forget "Jill sandwich" and that Dante's first fight in Devil May Cry 3 was over Pizza.

But that was the way they were meant to be though. That's what sold the games. They've changed too much and their fans are not happy.

From survival horror to boulder-punching. It's just daft.
