Have you ever gamed on an HD TV with an HDMI for a few years and then you go to a friends house and they have a standard definition TV and the regular component cables.. The difference is jarring the first time you see it. An astronomical difference. Even going from 1080 to 720 is a pretty alarming difference. 4K is off the charts. 4k at 60 FPS is just out of this world. Your eyes will notice the difference immediately, maybe you'll get used to it, but it would make it very hard to go back to the sub par 1080 gaming because your trained eyes would notice the significant downgrade to 1080.
