I'm guessing you didn't play DMC4 much because you won't S rank many missions let alone beat Bloody Palace by mashing buttons in DMC4... Human and Devil Hunter are the easy modes. Devil Hunter is ok but Human is ridiculously easy. If you actually bothered to play the game you would have unlock the following modes : - Son of Sparda, Dante must Die, Heaven or Hell, Hell or Hell, Bloody Palace.... Seriously what point are you trying to drive by making comments like ' I only played this game in real easy mode and I can tell you you can beat it by just buttong smashing ' That's like only playing Ninja Gaiden in Ninja Dog mode ( the ' you suck too bad so we really advice you switch to this mode because your death count is going through the roof mode'). I have 1000/1000 accomplishment (PS3) in DMC4 and I still can't compete with the top players and I sure ain't button mashing... You can actually get further in Ninja Gaiden without learning most combos. I still can't do Izuna drop and I mainly stick to basic attacks + flying swallow and wall attack spam and of course OLC UT and I have beaten the game in hard mode and have over 20 million scores in Mission Mode... |
First of all getting 1000/1000 on a game is quite impressive...you are obviously a big fan of the game.
However this doesn't change my opinion that these games like HS are becoming stagnant as for an average gamer that rents the game for the weekend (like myself) the mechanic of hitting attack over and over to kill the enemy and colecting orbs untill I have enough orbs to power up and get a new attack is becoming "been there done that". I'm sure you could squeze much more out of the game if you go in depth and read guides and tutorials etc...but this is not 90% of the gaming population, including myself. Also, if you look at DMC 1 and DMC 4...minus the graphics and few tweaks here and there (such as nero's arm mechanic which was pretty cool) what has changed?
As far as ninja gaiden vs devil may cry...I like NG more personally as I feel I have more control over whats going on...but this argument has been going on for many years and will continue to do so.
