Maybe it has something to do with the ps4 being out of stock. Some just bought whats available the x1, some are waiting, some waited and are slowly jumping to the x1.

You can still get a PS4, but it'll be from a 3rd party seller instead of Amazon itself. This could a sign that Sony is preparing an official new SKU. I remember Tachikoma mentioning such thing earlier this year.
