loool, I've read it twice and this still makes no sense to me. Everything he described can be done by a decent camera so wearable technology doesn't make sense, secondly it sounds exactly like the "Blue Ocean" that dried up with Kinect, what is new here? He essentially just described a weak system based off gesture controls.
I really don't think Nintendo is going to do any radically different with the NX platform. Theres lots of progressive technologies they could use to assist in delivering tradition+unique game experiences like haptic touch, eye tracking etc but non of them are from left field and are just extentions of what we have. VR is the only thing I see providing enough gimmick to be considered as creating another blue ocean strategy within the actual gaming market (not QOL), but its too pricey at the moment and too bulky.
