Nice review Jay. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's refreshing to witness how you're able to ignore any console preferences when commenting on/reviewing games. In this case with Bloodborne though I don't think it's the best 8th gen exclusive at least not from a personal point of view. Objectively I can see why Bloodborne is one of the best in its field/genre but I suck so hard at these games. Unfortunately my patience is shit.
For me Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony's best exclusives so far are Super Mario 3D World, Forza Horizon 2 and The Last of Us Remastered (Driveclub in case TLOU doesn't count) respectively.
Off topic: The Empire thread is really impressive. Do you have experience with running websites/blogs? Maybe Gooch could learn a thing or two XP Have you considered making your own website (or paying someone to) with coverage of general gaming news and sales? I do play mostly on PS4 (I'm a sucker for Naughty Dog) so a potential future thread/website covering PS4 as well would be quite interesting.
