Final Fantasy will definitely move more consoles..."most" people that are buying a ps3 for GT5 already have one because of GT5:P, GTAIV, Need for Speed, Burnout Paradise, etc. Racing games are plentiful.
RPG's are non-existant on the ps3 at this point. So their will be a horde of RPG fans buying the ps3 once Final Fantasy is released.
As far as software moved, I would say they will be similar this generation. I'm actually going to give a slight edge to Final Fantasy XIII because I think their is a desperation in the air for a good jrpg on the ps3 right now--I think it will get much more hype than usual.
