As long as they aren't increasing at a rapid rate (days) and you resolve any outstanding sectors you should be good with the HDD you have. You should always backup your files anyway. Most HDD's have spare sectors to replace bad ones. 14 isn't a lot if you had this HDD for a while. Mine had 27 replaced with spare sectors, 3 uncorrectable sectors, and 3 unrepared ones, but the only way I could likely resolve them is a full format (as I already tried CHCKDSK) and it was already making ugly noises. So I decided to RMA'd it, because the HDD was only 5 months old and shouldn't be having these problems.

I've seen 240GB SSD's for around $100 on Newegg. The 240 GB will give both faster performance and more space from what I've read on the benchmarks. You might want to look into them. I will be ordering myself a 240 GB 250 EVO whenever the money goes through to be refunded for this HDD.

Yeah I've had mine since mid 2013 and it;s done me well. I keep all data backed up on my external WD passport drive, all that's installed on the HDD currently is the OS, software and a few Origin games so really my external is everything while the desktop just acts as a shell.

I could go for a 240gb 850 pro but I dunno how much money that'll cost me since I've still got to grab a GTX 980, new monitor, WD blue HDD (replacing this green WD) and the rest of the parts currently on order go to £248 (without new GPU,HDD,SSD,Monitor), I've got a £500 rebate with £350 something banked, my contract with my company is ending soon so I dunno if I'll be kept on as perma staff so I just want to grab what I can that isn't too expensive.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
