physical distribution should just die on the PC

Because choice is a bad thing and everyone has access to broadband internet?

this is not a democracy, its developers comfort as to where they put their games and most are going digitally

and if in 2015 you want to play games and don't have an internet connection,i guess you are living under a rock

It's neither your decision to let physical releases die, it's the decision of the publisher. Physical and digital releases aren't mutually exclusive.

And don't worry, I have a fast internet connection (50 Mbit/s). I'm just (pre?-)downloading 62 GB (GTA V)... and the Rockstar servers suck! Should have chosen Steam.

But that's not the point... not everyone has the option for fast internet connections. Should they move in another town just to download some games?

its not mine but i can have an opinion

i think fast internet connection is available most places today

and even if anybody has a slower connection, they can wait a little bit

i ould not buy a pc physical disc as i like to have all my collection in the same format

i am actually for hard copies as you don't know when a site will shutdown but when everything is digital then i also went digital
