@ tiachopvutru: hi, do you still speak any vietnamese ??? if so please tell me what "Didi mau" means (propably spelled wrong) its from the movie Deer Hunter and was quoted on the Simpsons and some other shows, thanx

I do remember some Vietnamese (though forgot a whole lot) ... but "Didi mau" is not a Vietnamese word. So you may have spelled it wrong, and I can't really tell what word you refer to... You probably meant "di mau" but I'm not so sure...

I think that didi mau a vietnenglish word spoken by the U.S. grunts which meant "hurry up (with what you are doing and/or) get out of here" or more like " lets get out of here, and hurry the F*%K up!!!"

I don't understand the logic behind repeating the word "di" (which means go), but I was quite right in assuming that he was saying "di mau", since it means the same thing (with one less go)

Anyway, it's the first time I see it, and considering there's no mark above the letter, it's hard for me to know what someone means (Vietnamese words have those marks above and below the letters). Anyway, though I wasn't originally the one who asked it, thanks for clearing that up

I'm an ALIEN!!!! - officially identified as by Konnichiwa

Of course... My English is still... horrible - appreciation and thanks to FJ-Warez
