Could Pokemon benefit from a Persona-like Social Link feature?

I would welcome anything that makes Pokemon feel fresh.

Edit: Just read your whole idea. It would be interesting and certainly add some intimacy between the user and their Pokemon. I just don't know if it would be executed properly.
