Xbox had the absolute worst community last gen, from insult throwing twelve year olds with headsets to the scumbag dudebro crowd and those online who were physically attracted to the console and routinely shat on the PS3. That title has since been passed on to Playstation which has hilariously amassed the same audience. Nintendo's online community is fucking awful as well, doesn't matter which game you choose there's an audience of arrogant ponces behind it. I've said enough about them in the past and my view will never change.
The fighting game community is pretty toxic, save for DOA and Virtua Fighter those groups are actually pretty nice and welcoming. The community is one of the main reasons why fighting games don't sell as well as they should. They come off as the bullies of the video game schoolyard.
I've read nothing but bad things about the League of Legends fans and just about every other online multiplayer game's community. The ignorance of people has pissed me off for years.
Bottom line is that every community is the same, console, game, whatever, they're all equally horrible, people just look at their's through rose colored glasses.
