If Morpheus is somehow successful, MS will already have the research and those protoypes, they could probably have their own headset out within 6 months to 1 year after Morpheus, Sony wouldn't have that big of a lead. Better to take a wait and see approach to see how Morpheus is recieved, than to take a gamble and start producing expensive headesets that could lose money just to release at the same time. |
No industry leader ever takes the "wait and see approach"... if you're not pushing inovation forward, the industry will pass u by. (that applies to all industries, not just video games)
