Not necessarily the advice you're looking for but... I don't think your web developer skills are strong enough to make a business of it.

On your home website, you've successfully forgotten to close every one of your line-breaks, added an attributes that don't exist  to two a tags, and it appears that you don't understand what a doctype is.  Your website is also just short of being viewable in the 800x600 resolution which is still the minimum viewing resolution to target for the widest audience.

These mistakes are very obvious and they severely damage any credibility you're trying to gain from your portfolio page.  If you're even making mistakes with basic HTML and CSS, why should someone trust you for anything more complex?

That probably came off as really harsh and I didn't mean it to.  I do wish you luck with your business.  ^_^

Well he could change it to HTML strict and most of the errors would go away ;)

And 1024x78 is the most popular screen res. I think 800x600 is less than 10%, so I say screw them.
