We aren't talking moving consoles, and as for predecessors doesn't mean everything. MK7 i guessed failed, its off currently by 10mil for example. LoZ ALBW failed since its off from DS Games?

Im talking expectations, Im sure Nintendo didn't expect SM3DW to sell as high as the galaxies with WiiU's install base. Also its at 3.7mil+ now. It'll be around 5mil lifetime when its done, that aint bad for a 14mil-15mil console

That said DK for example was definetly suppose to do alot better, its not terrible, but i think they expected at least 2mil there.

I'm pretty sure they expected to sell very good and move consoles, like MK8. Not at the same level, but expected. That doesn't happend. Same with Nintendogs.
