Level-5 announced Yo-Kai Watch 3 for 3DS during its Level-5 Vision event in Japan today.
The game brings players out of the Japan setting of Sakura New Town from previous games and to the new town of St. Peanutsburg in the United States of America.
In addition to Keita, a new heroine named Inaho Misora and a new yo-kai named USA-Pyon will also appear. The pair will also make their TV debut in the second season of the Yo-Kai Watch anime airing this July.

Level-5 announced The Snack World, its fourth cross-media project following Inazuma Eleven, The Little Battlers eXperience, and Yo-Kai Watch, during its Level-5 Vision press conference today.
The Snack World will encompass a 3DS, iOS, and Android game, full CG TV anime, manga, Takara Tomy toy line, and nationwide movie release.
The toy line will consist of miniature key chain-like items called “Jara,” which will link with the 3DS and smartphone games using NFC technology. Touching the item to the screen of a New 3DS, for example, will make the item available in the game. The same items are carried on the waist by the franchise’s hero and transform into his weapons and shields.
The project is being marketed as a “hyper casual fantasy” and looks reminiscent of Dragon Quest and Fantasy Life.
