Fire Emblem Awakening DLC was mostly for cheating (stat boosting, gold boosting) and fan service of one form or another. The lack of it in the base game was hardly any blow to the over all product and all DLC felt peripheral and external to the core of the game. Additionally, we have cases like Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors which were all extremely fair uses of DLC. Nintendo is generally regarded as one of the better providers of DLC. You are talking out of your ass here. |
Sorry from my experience on DLC, Nintendo is still pretty bad considering how little they usually offer in their core games and how big the DLC is. Might as well just increase the price of the game.
Mario Golf was overpriced considering how much extra content that could have just been in the game which you had to get by buying
Fire Emblem was so overprice I dont even have to argue it. Brb 7.50 for 3 fukking maps.
Mario Kart 8 honestly should have included more maps to race on to begin with. It's had the same amount of maps since the DS game 10 years ago. Let that sink in, the same amount of maps as a handheld game released 10 years before it. They should have just included 10 cups to begin with and it would have lessened the blow of paying out for the second batch.
Smash is like 99 cents for a single Mii costume or something. How is texture and brief poly swap worth that much money??
