From 1989-2007 (4th/5th/6th generations) the Gameboy line sold just about 200 million units of hardware and a little under 900 million units of software. That's about 65 million units of hardware and 300 million units of software per generation, pretty much right where 3DS is headed.

That's a pretty short sighted way of looking at things, don't u think?

Ur just going to ignore that 4/5 of the past generations have sold roughly 65 million hardware and 300 million software. DS is a clear anomaly and shouldn't be considered standard in any regard.
