Didn't play Souls series. I love Bloodbourne, but with what I read I am not sure going from Bloodbourne back to Souls games would be a satisfying transition for me. I don't know if I'd enjoy hiding behind a shield most of the game.

Maybe, but I,have to say, being slower and having to hide behind a shield makes you, fear way more your enemies.

There is no life restoring for attacking a lot, there is no quick back steps even with low stamina to avoid combos (that can easily one hit kill you anyway), and be safe to use recovery itens or a gun to stun a enemy and get safe, not size changing weapons to fit your needs the best, no concerrning about what weapons to bring and if you are too heavy...

Well, while it does add a lot to gameplay, what I've seem is that it makes the game way easier than Dark Souls and specially Demon's Souls.

Seriously, I think someone who, just got to play their first game of this kind with Bloodborne and suffered with it would feel like a noob again when playing the Souls games.

Do it, go for Demon's Souls right after it, I would really like to know how hard it is to someone who started with Bloodborne.

Challenge accepted...only it won't be for a while, because I need to finish Bloodborne followed by a break from taking my thrashings.
