And onyxmeth, you're playing too much on the piracy bit and not enough on the Steam and digital disttribution bit. Yeah piracy is hurting retail sales, but I'm guessing Steam is hurting them even more.

You could very well be right. I don't read up too much on the issue. I based my position more on the topics that have been posted recently with articles fom PC developers that have said piracy is a major issue with PC gaming. I believe the now defunct studio behind Guild Wars was one such developer. I'm sure Steam is hurting sales also, but I feel if piracy wasn't such an issue there would be more hard copies sold.
