I don't remember exactly since it's been 2 years since I beat it but I just remember getting to a few of the endings and saying to myself "that's it?" Like I was supposed to have my mind blown but it just kind of ended instead.

I remember platinuming VLR, I had understood everything in the game. Going for all the endings explains and answers every question you would have. Maybe it's the order you went in, but I remember not being able to go certain routes unless you found out certain info on other routes first. I haven't played or even seen what 999 is exactly and it was perfect.
