I think if a person calls something sexist so blatantly without a good justification he/she is easily offended or has a poor vocabulary and can't describe what is not likable about a character who happens to be female.
With that out of the way, I didn't feel the game "sexualized" anyone but the writing was stupid, for it relied on one obvious method to make the player feel more empathetic toward the main character. Which is to put said character in traumatic physical situations. Boy did they go to the park on this one.... It seems Lara Croft needed to be reestablished and all they did was turn her figuratively into a punching bag that keeps falling through biscuit floors.
I do understand why they choose, or rather felt the need to recreate Drake's train crash scene, perhaps over and over again. The writing was also akin to that of a B-movie. However I think the popularity the reboot garnered, and the criticism that accompanied that should give Crystal Dynamic the incentive to tell a better story. Perhaps also to stop poorly trying to toy with the players emotions.
