True.

They had a lot of problems with Alan Wake because they wanted to make it an open world game, it wouldn't be surprising if they are having issues now with all the time manipulation "thingy".

I think they're game is ready. The problem is that, MS gotta find a way to market a type of game they never had in their portfolio before.

Plus, the season where people buy more games is Fall/Winter (holidays); therefore the delay, they can't afford to present a new IP and shoulder it with Halo, Tomb Raider, Forza 6 (marketing time), COD, Ass Creed, etc...

I doubt they are holding it back.

I mean, from the games MSoft has for this year, the one that looks to be more in trouble is Fable Legends, so if there is one game that had to be delayed, that's the game that would benefit more from it by launching on a less crowded season.
