I don't think either of those things will happen. God Eater 1 was the height of the franchise 617k (God Eater 2 has almost surpassed it across 2 platforms, though), and that was at a time when the genre was rampant on PSP, propped up by actual MonHun on the platform too.
I kinda feel like the genre is beginning to decline now. We're seeing G games that aren't coming close to their original releases and stuff like that.
It's a shoe-in for 500k+ if it releases, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.
I also think that's too much to expect from a Persona 5 re-release. I know the brand has grown in recent years, but there's no timeframe they could get it out on Vita for that wouldn't be too close to the original game's release.
