You really think that? Not a single one of those companies is producing AAA games for their gaming products, nor are any of their mobile devices capable of producing graphics on par with Xbox One as of yet. Nor do any of them have a position that allows them to integrate console gaming and PC gaming into one experience (except for Apple maybe). |
I don't know why you editted out the rest of the post, can you please not omit pertinent information when having a discussion based on the text?
"Now MS is working on their own streaming device that 'hint hint' specifically looks at PC to TV streaming. PC being where all the Xbox games suddenly are available.
MS has no need for a box."
Yes you are right. These devices are all streaming from phones, with phone graphics. They are not on par with xbox1 or PC. But MS is coming out with a device that would stream from PC. Therefore, your argument doesn't hold up because once the product is available, it invalidates your objection...because there would be a device capable. (again, MS is actually doing this. I didn't post a link just for fun)
Those companies can't compete, but you MUST acknowledge that they are challengers. They are being beaten, but they are still there putting up a small fight. MS streaming from PC would overstep them completely however, both performing their functions and a lot more, while simultaneously repositioning themselves to begin the battle with Valve.
It's really elementary when you think about it.
