If this leak is true, then this is the best use of Amiibo that I have seen since Smath Bros. I think this also demonstrates that Nintendo must be committed to giving Splatoon a decent local multiplayer experience (in addition to online multiplayer).

AKA, Fatal Frame. This is the game that western Wii U gamers have been begging for for a year now. The folks on this message board who are saying that Nintendo is abandoning Wii U owners should pay special attention to tomorrow's direct. If this announcement is true, then this demonstrates a surprising dedication by Nintendo towards Wii U gamers (localizing this game is largely fan service by Nintendo as I suspect that its sales won't be very high).
I am very excited for tomorrow's direct and if this leak turns out to be true, then I think this is a game changer for the Wii U in 2015 in terms of quality content.
