Never played any Souls before. But this game is really amazing. Was very frustrated in the beginning but then just learned to play and explore everywhere. I can make long runs without dying and get lots of echos, but bosses are though and the more special monsters can be really hard, but it all seems fair and balanced. If I am cautious and have patience its hard to die and get rewarded with great items while exploring and a full inventory. Everyone should give it a chance.
Anyway, I am currently going to the crazy laughing witches place after defeating Vicar Amelia. That graveyard between the cathedral and the witches place can be really difficult! So many shooters and a new kind of beast that is super fast and aggressive.
