He rather have less work than actually do a job as good as he could, he just said that.

I know that it would make things easier but that would mean people like him would be happy with parity over taking all they could from it.

Then we have devs like ND, 1st party, doing games that seems way better what others do and you wonder why...

The games we're talking about here are indies...Devs with Small budgets that have to save money from porting costs, AAA tier publishers will still use PS4's API since they've worked with it before.Besides is not like all the games using PS4's API now are of top notch quality, most games are 30fps, some are 900p, and have AF problems, is not like a few lost fps are going to fix all those problems.

As I said before.Devs not having to learn PS4's API, could be the difference between the PS4 getting more indie games ported or not.

Also, I don't understand what you mean by parity, parity with Steam machines?
