meh I don't really like it (the price) thanks to the weak euro.
if they used the old 1$:1€ exchange rate it would be ok but now $499 is now 599€ ...
and the $599 4gb/128gb is 719€ -> without digitizer which is 50-70€ -> 770-790€.
you can get the surface 3 pro i5 with 4gb/128 for 799€ or 850€ without sale.
even the cheapiest one 599€ ... you can get the i3 with double the memory and same ssd for less than 699€, 650€ when lucky with pen ... so it might be even cheaper to get the pro if you need the pen.
tldr:
if you don't mind the fan and 2" more and need the pen get the pro, since its the same price or even cheaper in europe.
