Luxembourg

Tiny country in the center of Europe, filthy rich by GDP but almost everything exept fuel, booze and videogames are much more expensive here then elsewhere. Hard to find some decent housing due to fast population growth (we had only half as many inhabitants 25-30 years ago), big forrests (Napoleon even called the country "Département des Forêts" after he conquered Luxembourg) and hilly terrain. Oh, and stuck between Germany and France, so historically really a bad place to live.

Due to our small size everyone speaks at least 3 languages, with 4 or 5 being the norm on most younger people (luxembourgish, english, french, german and their mothertongue if they have some immigrant background, which many kids do (often portuguese, italian or nederlands))

Even our province of Luxembourg is bigger than your country. :p

Give it back! That was ours! You just got it because we helped you achieve independence in 1930 and we got punished for your independence.

Well, at last more or less how it happened

(what is now the belgian Province du Luxembourg was back then the predominantly french-speaking part of our country, what's left was the more germanic (what became luxembourgish was called luxembourger german back at the time) part of our country. Netherlands, who ruled the country back then, gave the french-speaking part to belgium and kept the rest for themselves... but only for 9 additional years)

The fact that we helped belgium to achieve it's independence can also be seen in the US, where's a city populated by former luxembourgers which is called belgium: http://village.belgium.wi.us/
