Until we get Internet services that are reliably fast enough and have a huge bandwith limit (I'd argue at least a terabyte) I don't think so. Streaming games and downloading games takes up so much data. Considering a next-gen title is on average like 25GB, if the newer gen takes up more space (nearing almost a 100 let's say) then it's just not worth it for most consumers.
