Ehh, I think it's more of a surprise and the theme of like Rollins losing the battle, but winning the war. Wins and losses don't matter much anymore in the WWE. As long as they can elicit a reaction from the crowd. 

Edit: Also think it could be like having the crowd forget about Rollins, and then making the cash in more impactful since they're like, "Oh damn, I forgot about him." 

True I still would have prefered that he won.  Looks like were gonna get a fatal four way at Extreme Rules now, Rollins vs Lesnar vs Orton vs Reigns.
