Good question. Was thinking about that one myself.
They probably will develop it by themselves since From Software will probably want to make their own games and take more of the profit.
What Sony could have gotten from the joint venture is valuable knowledge from the master himself.
But...
You simply cant replace Miyazaki...
Therefore, the second coming may be inferior.
