On the compression thing, that's a possible reason for stating what he said, but don't you think that maybe Lionhead isn't being completely honest. I mean whenever a developer talks about space you say that they are being dishonest in one way or another, but couldn't Lionhead just be dishonest?

I doubt Lionhead are being dishonest about the compression ratiio. 1:100 is about the same level of compression that movies on BD and HD-DVD have so it is reasonable to assume that game data can also be compressed at that rate without any loss in quality.

Perhaps it's because I only skimmed the article, but I only found reference to 40:1 and 60:1 compression. Quite far from 100:1.
