MS having advertising rights means very little. They had advertising rights to CoD, and Evolve and they still sold tons more o PS4.

And those were shooters, which XB owners love, RPGs aren't as popular with that installbase, I can guarantee that Witcher 3 will sell atleast 3 times as much on PS4 compared to XB1.

Those advertising rights were enough for both games to outsell the PS4 version in the US. And CoD only recieved limited bundling and Evolve recieved no bundling. If MS is smart they'll have a Witcher 3 bundle, because right now they have no good bundle options for the summer. Not saying they will have a Witcher 3 bundle, but they should.

Also, that's not really an accurate statement, certain RPG's are quite popular on Xbox. Fable 2 sold 5m, Fallout 3 sold 5m, Skyrim sold over 8m, Mass Effect 2 sold 3m, Dragon Age: Origins sold 2.5m, KOTOR sold 2.2m. As of now I see no reason to believe that Witcher 3 won't be able to reach the 1.5m prediction in the OP, it's a WRPG just like the other RPG's that have sold well on Xbox in the past, and Witcher 2 sold over 1m (physical + digital) on the 360 despite receiving very little advertising and releasing a year after the PC version instead of at the same time like Witcher 3.

360 installbase is not an accurate representation of XB1's installbase.

Just look at Witcher 3's Amazon rankings, the PS4 version is tracking several hundred ranks ahead of the XB1 version. Or just look at the pre-order charts here on vgchartz, PS4 version has almost twice as many pre-orders. And these are just the US figures, and Witcher is a series that makes majority of it's sales in Europe where PS4 has a HUGE lead in installbase the Witcher 3 sales ratio will be around 5:1 in PS4's favor.
