Home consoles. I grew up with first an Atari 2600 and then an NES. I had a Game Boy eventually too, but I've always preferred gaming in relaxation, on a TV, with a controller in my hand. Portable gaming is good, but part of my problem with, say, my old DS Lite, is that I never felt/feel like playing it when I'm at home. I'd always rather play games on my home consoles.

Now if Nintendo (hopefully) DOES go with the rumored "Fusion" idea, and basically have an evolved Wii U concept, with the GamePad this time being a sleeker, actually "take on the go" controller/system unto itself....that would be preferable. Then you'd have the best of both worlds: you could play your games on your big TV from your couch, AND you could take those same exact games on the go with you while you're out. Win-win.

I personally hope they do this, both for those reasons, and because the one system would (hopefully) get the typical amount of games that the home and portables usually get separately, all on one unit. Far preferable.
