PS4 is at 7.87 in NA. Xbone is at 7.14 in NA. Yes, I do believe Halo 5 will be enough to take over NA and from there on just keep on running. Remember that MS isn't shy to cut the price for Christmas. $249 Xbone standing next to a Halo 5? How is Sony going to compete with that? I'm European, so can't truely judge the Halo 5 effect, but I get the impression that the craze it causes can only be matched by GT when it comes to Sony's games. It is hard for me to imagine how Sony could turn people's attention away from Xbone this Christmas. Xbone is going to be the console to get this year, MS will make damn sure about that.

Couple things: i believe that Halo MCC was made to one get cash but two and more importantly was to get those Halo lovers that are on the fence about getting a Xone to jump in early. So in actuality Xone has already seen its Halo 5 console sales already happen to some extent. The othe thing is like the previous posters have said....we have no idea what sony is bringing for the holidays so statements like na is micros is very silly.
To your point about a $249 console.... great idea. lets take our most anticipated game and give it away for free smh. Ideas like that sink companies.
I would say that a $300 PS4 with an unexpected game dropping during the holidays will keep sony in the lead in NA.
Dont get me wrong...Halo 5 will sell like hot cakes but that doesnt mean the console will sell one for one
