You believe that story? That after Iwata said development periods longer than three years were unacceptable for Zelda games, Aonuma went to him to ask to increase the dev time from 4 to 5 years so they could expand the scope of the game, and Iwata agreed?
Aonuma is covering for his ass. The game's not finished. I bet he told Iwata it wouldn't be ready by the end of 2015, and Iwata said if they're going to hang for this, they'll hang for a whole flock of sheep, not for a lamb. Rather than giving Aonuma the couple of months he actually needs, he's giving him a full year of extra time and telling him it had better be the best damn video game Aonuma has ever imagined creating.
