Curious? Weren't kids married off around puberty in the US back a couple centuries ago?

10 is typically below the age of puberty. By todays laws a 10 year old can't consent to sex.  Slavery was also legal and common a couple hundred years ago so I'll ask what your point is.

My point is that in this country at one time kids were married around the ages of puberty and that was two to three years shy. Thats pretty much it. Im not saying anything is right or wrong.
