If Halo 5 is not getting delayed, which I wouldn't expect to see happen, then this is feasible. The holidays are so busy already with big multiplats that dropping this mid-tier game in that midst is just asking to get run over. Gamers only have so much money, so ROTR is pretty likely to be a game that many just skip and wait to get on sale later on if they try to cram it out during a crowded release time.

Remember Sunset Overdrive? That's another solid exclusive that had terrible sales because it got murdered by a slew of multiplats, even if arguably SO was better than most or all of the major games that released in the same window.

There is a certain art that must be mastered with releasing games. Movie studios are much wiser overall about this, as releasing the wrong kind of movie at the wrong time spells disaster, and so does going up against really big guns. If you think I'm kidding just look it up. Whenever Avatar 2 comes out for example, watch other movies avoid releasing on that same week (or maybe even the week after as well). The holiday multiplat storm is much like that. You don't want to release same time as :

COD
AC
Madden
FIFA (depending on region)
Batman
etc
