While it's nice that you could just relocate. Most people don't have that luxury. Assuming that all people can, doesn't make them able to.

They can limit their interactions with individuals or groups.  Anybody can move if given enough time and motivation. 

I think pain of death shoudl be enough motivation, but once again it's not something everyone can do. Even so the don't like it just leave attitude is a terrible excuse to let people discriminate
