Also, people do not choose who they are. Some people have flexibility to grow the way they want to, but there are some things that you can't choose. For example, I'm not attracted sexually to asian girls. I think they're beautiful, but something just doesn't trigger. I didn't choose that, it's just who I am.
When you're older, you'll come to understand that you have no power over some things. I'm not saying you're stupid or dumb or whatever, it's just that when you're young, things make sense, but once you get older and start to encounter situations you'd never dream of in your imagination, things start to change. Happenstance starts feeling like fate, inexplicable events start making you question coincidence.

And you will also learn that lying is just as important as honesty. Or that sometimes it's ok for someone to lie, because you care more about them than you do the truth.
