One of Japan's best devs going to a just okay mid tier Western studio is probably a bad idea.
I guess he could join SCE Japan Studios with his team, or found a new studio and be contracted by the big boys. Though I think there's like 2 of them who would let Kojima do what he wants with a AAA budget. He could work at what he wanted at whatever budget with both Sony and MS.
