Also I agree that Top Gear wasn't even about the cars, it was just about the 3 of them goofing around and having a good time. I'm not a car enthusiast either but I love watching Top Gear because they're always doing something funny such as a challenge or just messing with each other, which is basically in almost every episode. They have a relationship that you wouldn't be able to replicate because all three of them are really good friends.
