I always considered Clarkson kind of a jackass douchebag, and I'm pretty sure he was complicit in forcing Tiff Needell. However, I would be lying if I said the interplay between James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson wasn't the exact reason for the popularity of the show. Like him or not, Top Gear lost part of what made it a highly entertaining show.
It's unlikely they'll be able to find a replacement that is able to create the same kind of atmosphere those three produce. So, I doubt my interest in the show will continue past this point. It's a shame, it was a great show while it lasted.
