I think for gearbox, PC might even be bigger than that. The amount of four packs I seen people buy for friends. 

Here are the best estimate we have for Steam sales.  This is not all PC sales,  just Steam.

Borderlands 2 =  3.1M as of April 2014.

I assume it is much higher now from Steam summer/holiday sales.
