I agree..... at a certain point. Not really the worst, but hardly one of the best.
7th, 6th and 5th generations caused more surprise to me than the current generation.
This generation has too much remakes, I feel a certain lack of new ideas and concepts, too much yearly iterations of games that remain similar, lack of variety, too many shooters, too many games focused on action rather than strategy or tatics etc. Less variety of sports, fighting, racing, rhythm, puzzle games....
