Opinion: 8th generation is the worst generation in video game history

I could swear this generation isn't over yet but apparently, it already ended and we have no new games coming out

Look, the thing is that while I agree this generation is filled with Remasters that shouldn't be made imo and last year had a bunch of games there were just facepalms in terms of launch but the thing is... Virtually every generation had their own sets of urks imo

Like okay, the 7th generation for example. The ps3 had this game called Lair where it lagged like up the ass on its second year and it launched with games called Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom (58 meta) and Genji: Days of the Blade (55 meta) and both were published by Sony!! Hmm, that kinda sounds familiar don't it? On the ps4, you have knack (54 meta) and Killzone SF (73 meta which is better than the 7th gen btw). And both gen launched with one game with 80+ meta! The ps4 launched with infamous and the ps3 launched with Resistance. Now the reason why I am making the comparison is that while the ps3 had a rocky launch, it turned out to be one of the best consoles ever by the end and the ps4 might do the same

And yes, I love my wiiU and I choose it over the ps4 for various reasons but that really doesn't mean that this entire gen is going to suck based on its 1.5sh years. There are plenty of games coming out this year that aren't just remasters and there will be plenty more in the coming years. Yes, I don't agree with the remasters of the 7th gen games but I really don't think 8th gen is going to be the worst gen ever based on right now
